At this time, Butane is not a legal solvent to be used in the state of California. If you live in this state, you will be required to use Acetone of another solvent with similar properties. When using our manual, you must remember to replace the word Butane with the solvent you choose to use.

Read a Letter written to the California Attorney General's Office regarding allowing the safe use of Butane in a Tamisium Extractor.
Please help join in an effort to allow California a safe lawful means to extract essential oils using Butane in a Tamisium Extractor.
Currently it is a felony to use Butane as a solvent in the State of California. The Attorney General's Office can clarify the law in a Letter of Legal Opinion which could allow the safe use of Butane as a solvent in a Safe Apparatus.

All products on this site are sold for lawful extractions of legal herbals period. If I suspect that you are using our extractor to extract from any illegal plants or to extract illegal chemicals from legal plants, I will not sell to you. I understand that you may be lawful under the state laws in the state you live in but I live in Texas and have to conform to Texas Law. In addition, we live in the USA and have to conform to Federal Laws. We have been making a living using our extractors to extract from perfectly legal materials and we assume you are going to be doing the same.
We are fully aware that some state laws and federal laws are contradictory at this time. Black and White may be in the near future but while this grey area exist we will follow the Federal and State guidlines dictating law where we reside here in the State of Texas.

In addition to lawful plant extractions we do not discuss treatments or cures using plant extractions.
We do not condone or facilitate the extraction of illegal herbal products or herbal extracts for the purpose of treating or curing disease or sickness. All extractions made with these extractors are not be used to treat or cure any disease or illness. I can not determine if one extract or another can cure or treat a disease or if the FDA has approved that extraction. WE make extractors, not extractions. If you are sick or have an illness, please consult a physician or medical doctor and seek medical attention from a qualified professional..

Please check with your local State and Federal laws rules and regulations concerning permits and laws regulating the use or possesion of non-glassware stainless steel percolating extractors and or solvent recovery apparatus using temperature less than 100 Degrees Fahrenheit in a closed system.

Flammable solvents such as alcohol, acetone and butane are combustible and can be hazardous. When using a Tamisium Extractor, you assume and accept full responsability when using any flammable solvent to extract with. Water is an option in regards to available solvents. Use any other solvent at your own risk.

Another disclaimer with safety rules and guidelines will be included with the purchase of each extractor.
Buy purchasing and or using any Tamisium Extractor, you are signing into an agreement that states you fully understand and agree to the disclaimer above and the safety rules requirements in the manual that comes with the extractor.

No Extractor should be sold or transferred without the accompanying manaul. If you have obtained an extractor in any way other than by purchase from Tamisium Extractors or a Licensed Reseller, please submit proof of the purchase or ownership and a manual will be supplied to you free of charge.
